Konami launches ‘Metal Gear Survive’ for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC

Gaming News

Metal Gear Survive is here. Konami’s new title takes the story from the end of ‘Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes’, and puts the player in the shoes of a soldier who helped Big Boss escape during the descent to Mother Base. The studio has just released the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.

Escaping from being trapped in a mysterious wormhole, the player wakes up six months later in a secret US Government research organisation to be sent on a mission through the same wormhole. To stay alive in this hostile world, players will have to fight deadly creatures, explore the surroundings for food, water and other resources, and collect materials to build weapons, buildings and utensils.

The new Metal Gear video game offers both individual and cooperative story mode, with up to four players playing. In the individual mode, players will have to fend for themselves in a ruined world inhabited by a variety of creatures that have dominated it. They will have to deal with obstacles that threaten their survival and collect and consume food and water, paying attention to possible diseases from contaminated food and injuries caused by animals.

The cooperative mode, with up to four players, allows you to team up with other players from around the world and work together to complete various missions. Throughout the game there is a clear strategy objective: to be able to see where to place Interceptor Units and Defensive Units to successfully defend their posts, while coordinating with teammates to defend against hordes of enemies.

Konami has also activated a login celebration bonus that will be available for a limited time. This bonus will allow you to earn additional SV coins and access updated content for the coming month (events, cooperative missions and enhanced features).
