The popular TV series CSI will return to the world of video games with CSI: NY, a title that for the first time in the history of the saga, will allow to incarnate one of the real characters of the series. The game will include five original cases created by the writers of the series and will be available for PCs during Christmas 2008.
Players will control characters such as Detective Mac Taylor and Stella Bonasera, and help them solve crimes in the Big Apple by gathering clues and finding evidence to arrest all the suspects.
Another new feature is that you can control interviews and use evidence to reveal the lies of suspects. The cases will consist of numerous mini-games: code breaking, facial reconstruction, triangular shooting locations, physical reconstruction simulation, Internet search…
The interface has been simplified from previous CSI games to make the game more accessible, the player more comfortable and enjoyable to play.
The Ubisoft CSI game series has sold over 3.5 million units worldwide since the first release of its first title in 2003.
